The Gender and Peacebuilding Training Manual is intended to be used for teachers teaching in primary or secondary school. It is shaped by a participatory approach. The aims of the training programme are to address gender inequalities and to promote positive gender roles, gender equity and a peaceful way of life. The training builds upon three pilot training sessions conducted for primary school teachers in the conflict-affected Karamoja region of north-eastern Uganda.
