The Towards Gender-Sensitive Classrooms: Guide for Teachers is a UNRWA publication. This Guide is developed to support the over 20,000 UNRWA Teachers and Education Staff in ensuring the gender-responsiveness of teaching in the classroom and of the overall culture and environment of schools. This Guide seeks to strengthen the awareness of UNRWA teachers in particular on gender issues and to highlight how classroom practices can help address gender biases towards gender-equitable teaching.
