This booklet, Education Sector Responses to Homophobic Bullying, is the eighth in a series of publications that address key themes of UNESCO’s work in HIV and Health Education. The booklet lays out the context, extent and impact of homophobic bullying in schools. It synthesizes lessons learned and good policies and practices for education sector responses. The booklet targets education sector policymakers, planners and managers and may be useful as well to school governing bodies, administrators, head teachers, teachers and other educators that are creating healthy learning environments.
