The Protect Our Youth curriculum was developed through the DREAMS Innovation Challenge in Eswatini with direct input from secondary school girls wherein girls identified the topical areas important to them and the areas for which they needed more information and support. The DREAMS Innovation Challenge programme seeks to address youth reproductive health issues, including HIV in schools, particularly targeting girls. This curriculum was designed for Protect our Youth Clubs that help secondary school students build social assets, offer life skills and information on adolescent sexual and reproductive health and address harmful gender norms.
