The new UNDG Resource Guide for Gender Theme Groups is intended for UN staff operating in the field as a key knowledge resource for further enhancing coordinated action on gender equality and the empowerment of women by UN Country Teams (UNCTs). The Guide is anchored in the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development and the new programming guidance for UNCTs. It provides a menu of possible functional areas of focus of Gender Theme Groups based on real experiences in the field, complemented by an extensive set of practical examples of their work.
