The Regional Learning Community for East and Southeast Asia created this curriculum as a capacity development resource for both their members and other practitioners. The curriculum calls on users to challenge and transform patriarchal masculinities, more effectively promote gender equality and human rights and work to prevent violence. It serves to provide a generic conceptual framework for understanding masculinities. It is recommended that the toolkit be adapted and contextualized for local circumstances.
