This Rapid Review of Programmes for Women and Girls' Economic Empowerment draws on global practice and responds to the context of the social and economic gender gaps in Nepal. This report reviews the literature on programmes being implemented in different contexts which share some characteristics with Nepal and its sub-regions, to identify successful examples across different thematic areas that can inform a comprehensive portfolio of work that meets the needs and promotes the potential of different groups of women and girls across Nepal.
