Guidelines: Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action
The IASC Guidelines for Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action set out essential actions that humanitarian actors must take in order to effectively identify and respond to the needs and rights of persons with disabilities, who are most at risk of being left behind in humanitarian settings. These guidelines include a specific chapter on Education and have been designed to provide practical information for humanitarian actors and other relevant stakeholders. They place persons with disabilities, and their human rights, at the centre of humanitarian action.
