2024 has been a pivotal year for the Gender at the Centre Initiative (GCI). While we witnessed large-scale human suffering and severe gender backlash throughout the world, including in some GCI partner countries, GCI continued its mission to leverage the transformative power of education. Throughout the year we stayed focused on making every school a place where all children feel welcome and safe, and learn about respect, equality and peace.
