This Foundations - Training of Facilitators Manual is for trainers of facilitators that will implement UN Women’s Foundations Programmes. Trainers who use this manual will gain competences on how to train community and youth workers, educators and allied mental health professionals. The trainers will use this manual to conduct a five-day training workshop that will prepare male and female facilitators to implement the Foundations Programme in both school and community settings. This manual is NOT for the use by facilitators who will be working directly with the youth; the Foundations Curriculum is to be used for that purpose.
