Key Achievements from Phase 1 (2022-2023)

Since 2022, UNGEI has been implementing the multi-country programme ‘Ending Gender Stereotypes in Classrooms through Play-Based Curriculum’. The programme aims to help adolescent girls, boys, and children of all diversity understand, question, and reject gender stereotypes. This report showcases key achievements from Phase 1 (2022-2023) in Bangladesh, India, and Niger, where over 9,300 students (50% girls) across 60 schools were reached, laying the foundation for scalable, transformative education.
