In this report, Human Rights Watch looks at the factors leading to child marriage in Africa and the long-term impacts linked to the practice on girls' rights, health, safety and education. It suggests a way forward by making clear recommendations to key African stakeholders including: the African Union, Heads of State and Government and Parliaments, National Ministries of Education, National Ministries of Health, as well as National Ministries of Justice and Home Affairs.
