The Conceptual Framework for Measuring School-Related Gender-Based Violence was prepared by RTI International. With this document, researchers and development partners will have a clearer path for investigating acts of school-related gender-based violence, monitoring and evaluating programmes and building an evidence base for establishing the efficacy of interventions and for informing policy. Detailed definitions of different types of school-related gender-based violence are presented for the purpose of measurement. The document also provides a set of indicators and a corresponding suite of survey instruments.
