Knowledge Hub

This book, developed by UNESCO-IIEP and the CfBT Education Development Trust, reviews some of the types of alternative education programmes that are offered in emergency and post-conflict situations and the contribution of these programmes to achieving the Education For All (EFA) agenda, including the improvement of the quality for education. The review focuses on goals relating to access to primary education and appropriate learning and life skills programmes, the elimination of gender disparities in primary and secondary education, and the improvement of educational quality.
