This briefing paper on school-related gender-based violence in refugee contexts describes challenges faced by children and adolescents in refugee settings and presents the main approaches to addressing gender-based violence in refugee learning spaces. It offers recommendations for governments, humanitarian actors, donors and national coordination mechanisms to strengthen the protection of girls and boys from school-related gender-based violence.
