This case study, developed by Together for Girls (TfG), examines Tanzania’s trajectory over the past decade in implementing the standard TfG model to prevent and respond to violence against women (VAW) and violence against children (VAC). The purpose is to learn from the TfG model experience at country level and to share it with a broader global community of practitioners, advocates and decision-makers. It recommends a long-term and multisectoral-coordination model to prevent and respond to VAW and VAC.
