Knowledge Hub

This guide was developed by the National Board on Gender Equality (Consejo Nacional para la Igualdad de Género) to provide technical guidance on gender-based discrimination and sexual orientation-based discrimination in the public education system. The guide includes five main components: general frameworks; basic concepts; effective recommendations for the education community about integration of LGTBI members within school settings; and recommendations on how to address and prevent gender-based discrimination and gender-based violence. Sensitization activities are included in the final section.
