Open Letter to the World Ministers
Building on the white paper ‘Prevention of Sexual Violence in Education Settings’, UNGEI launched an open letter calling for an end to sexual violence in education. Written and endorsed by civil society organizations, young activists, academia, governments, and multilateral organizations, the letter served as a unified call to action addressed to the First Ministerial Conference to End Violence Against Children in Bogota, Colombia, in November 2024. As of December 2024, it has garnered over 200 signatures from over 100 organizations.
