Youth are not only the beneficiaries of transformation in education, they are essential partners. In fact, they are the transformers. From Australia to Zimbabwe, youth-led networks and organizations are mobilizing and working together to transform education to help every child get a quality education, no matter who she, he or they are. Education is an essential pathway to a gender-just world, but in too many countries girls face multiple barriers to going to school, staying in school and fulfilling their potential.
