Girls with disabilities have an equal right to education
In the lead up to the G7 Summit and Global Partnership for Education replenishment summit, we are launching a global call to action to ensure no girl with disabilities is left behind. The UN Girls' Education Initiative joined forces with Leonard Cheshire, Sightsavers, VSO, Light for the World, and the Commonwealth Children and Youth Disability Network to advocate for more gender-responsive and inclusive education systems. Hear from girls and young women with disabilities, and inclusion advocates from around the world, sharing their recommendations to world leaders.
This video accompanies an advocacy brief, Leave No Girls With Disabilities Behind. It's time to step it up for gender equality and inclusion in education. Girls with disabilities have an equal right to education!
