Code of conduct

Developed by UNGEI through the Global Working Group to End School-Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV), A Whole School Approach to prevent and respond to SRGBV: minimum standards and monitoring framework provides guidance for policy makers and practitioners. The model is based on eight evidence-based approaches which together represent a ‘whole school approach’ to tackling SRGBV. An effective code of conduct, written and owned by the entire school community, can be a powerful tool to shift attitudes and norms at the root of SRGBV. But what makes a good code of conduct?
